What we found in one operator's 25 machines, on the first day
- 150card payments took the money and made no drink: €462 in total. Only 8 had been refunded.
- 9 of 25machines were idle.

It was all in their own sales data. Nobody had shown it to them.

Connect
Nothing changes on the machine.
You connect the account you already use for your machines, and VendCaptain loads your full sales history. Covers lost money, visits, pricing and your numbers.

Run
VendCaptain on the machine's own screen.
Same machine, no new hardware. Adds the stamp card, a game while the shake is made, price tests, exact stock after every drink, and a maintenance switch you can use from anywhere.
Needs a Nayax card reader. Screen languages today: English and Spanish. You can switch back to the factory app.

- See your machinesYour sales history loads. From then on VendCaptain checks your machines every hour.
- Decide after 30 daysIf you do not continue, you pay nothing. Your data is kept, and you can ask us to send it to you or delete it.
The pilot uses Connect, so nothing changes on your machines. If you want Run, we plan the first machine together.
Built by an operator
VendCaptain is made by Real Zero, a company in Madrid that runs a shake machine inside the Orangetheory Fitness Velázquez studio. It has been open since May 2026.
Since October 2026 VendCaptain runs that machine: it shows the menu, takes every payment and makes every drink.
We built it because the factory software told us whether a drink had been made, and nothing about whether the machine made money. We use VendCaptain every day. When something breaks, it breaks for us first.

Questions
Do I need new machines or new hardware?
No. Connect changes nothing on the machine. Run is installed on the screen the machine already has.
What changes on my machines during the pilot?
Nothing. The pilot uses Connect, which reads your sales from the machine account you already have.
Which card reader do I need?
Connect works with the card reader you already have. Run needs a Nayax card reader.
Which languages does it speak?
What you use as the operator is in English. With Run, the customer's screen is in English and Spanish today. Tell us which other language you need.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your data is kept apart from every other operator's, on servers in the European Union. You can download your sales at any time. If you leave, you can ask us to send you everything or delete it.
Can I go back after moving a machine to Run?
Yes. The factory app stays on the machine, and you can switch back to it from the machine's service screen.
Is VendCaptain made by the maker of the machine?
No. VendCaptain is independent software, made by an operator. It is not affiliated with the maker of the machine.
What does it cost after the pilot?
A monthly price for each machine. We agree it with you during the pilot. If you do not continue, you pay nothing.
